Owner Chris Tredway is in the process of completing his GMB (Graduate Master Builder) designations through the NAHB & GHBA's continuing education program. Cedar Bend Homes has successfully completed and are currently working on projects in The Heights, Braeswood, West University, Midtown, Garden Oaks, Oak Forest, Memorial, Spring Branch, Sugar Land, Missouri City, Richmond, Rosenberg, Katy, Cypress, and surrounding areas.
Christopher Michael Tredway
Chris was born in Wichita Falls, TX and raised in Conroe, TX. After graduating from Texas A&M University in 1996, Chris found his passion for construction while working in the commercial division for Alliance Construction, Inc. In 1998. Chris began to explore and research the residential side of the industry while working as a superintendent and then lead superintendent in two subdivisions for the custom home division of Newmark/Fedrick-Harris Estate Homes in the Sugar Land area. Chris quickly realized that residential construction was where he would plant his roots. In 2001, Chris was approached with an opportunity to expand his construction knowledge and expertise with Parkstone Estate Homes, where he became a construction manager for one of their acreage communities in Missouri City. In 2003, in an attempt to pursue a dream filled with daily challenges and excitement, Chris co-founded Cedar Bend Homes. Cedar Bend Homes has expanded from accomplishing small projects to successfully completing million dollar plus projects. Chris has continued with the same determination, devotion, desire and goal to become one of Houston's top builders/remodelers. In his spare time Chris enjoys hunting, fishing, spending time with his family, friends, and his closest hunting buddy, his yellow lab, Piper.
